Each year I update my service offerings to reflect what seems to be working for my clients. Ironically, my ideal coaching client is someone who might need and want Productivity Coaching, but struggles to find the time and space for it for the very reason that they need it!

To that end, I recently started offering an Introductory Coaching Engagement which is a condensed version of my standard Coaching Engagement allowing clients to work on one or two  issue areas over two to three months.

The passage of time is essential to the coaching process and allows for experimentation, accountability, implementation and integration of new habits, routines and perspectives.  To reap these advantages, clients may choose an Individual Coaching Engagement to focus on three to four issue areas over a longer period for stronger implementation and integration. For most clients, issues include time management, productivity, managing themselves or others, and wellness. Coaching is ideally suited to improve time entry and billing practices. This focus can improve cash flow and client communication and relationships. These coaching clients also notice a decrease in their stress, worry, anxiety and time spent on time keeping and billing.

Individual Coaching Engagement

Clients choosing a standard Coaching Engagement want to reap the benefits of addressing several areas at once. Seeing progress in one area can powerfully motivate progress in other areas. Progressing in one key area can unlock progress in other related issues, creating a synergistic effect that is difficult to obtain in a shorter coaching engagement. Clients pay a fee at the beginning of the engagement and complete the engagement within six months.

Finally, did you know that some law firms will pay the cost of coaching for their lawyers? The coaching relationship remains confidential between me and the client, but law firms can reap the benefits of improved lawyer productivity and management skills! For some clients, the cost of productivity/business coaching may be deductible as a business expense (talk with your tax advisor.)
